Our Story
My name is Yamalen Njie. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and initially intended to pursue a career in that field. However, my path changed when I began working with individuals with disabilities and I quickly discovered my true calling.
Through this work, I saw firsthand how meaningful support can transform lives and help individuals achieve greater independence and confidence. What began as a job became a lifelong passion.
For the past 14 years, I have been dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. I am committed to fostering independence, building strong and trusting relationships, and promoting inclusivity within the community.
Working in this field has been incredibly rewarding. It offers the opportunity to make a real, tangible difference in daily lives helping individuals achieve their goals, overcome challenges, and live more independent, fulfilling lives. I am proud to contribute to a more compassionate and inclusive society through the work I do.

At Busurafawsu Home Care, my mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and personal experience.
This organization was founded from a deeply personal journey. After witnessing my beloved father’s courageous battle with cancer, I came to understand the true importance of not only quality care, but also emotional support, respect, and human connection during life’s most challenging moments.
My fahter was more than a father. My father was a source of strength, resilience, and inspiration. His experience revealed how meaningful compassionate care can be, not just for patients, but for their families as well.
In his memory, I created Busurafawsu Home Care to provide a supportive and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued, understood, and genuinely cared for. I am committed to delivering personalized care that honors each person’s dignity while supporting their health, comfort, and overall well-being.
